Welcome to Hark 2011! We are so excited to bring you the fourth year of Hark. Many longtime contributors are back again this year alongside new participants who I'm sure you'll enjoy.

To kick off Hark 2011, Greg has recorded Joy to the World with some help from Liddy (she ended up playing the bass part on her flute). Greg is hoping to include the washboard on at least one other song this year.

Lyrics

Joy to the world! the Lord is come:
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven, and heaven and nature sing.

Joy to the earth! the Savior reigns:
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders of His love.
